Roots Foundation has been leaving no stones unturned when it comes to serving society. A building stands firm when the foundation is strong. In the same way, children are the foundation of the society, who after growing up , makes their future, as well as the future of the country brighter. Increasing competition and in the age of globalization, it becomes vital to build and enhance the skills of every individual as it helps to increase the efficiency and the qualities of an individual. Skill-building empowers the individuals and helps to improve their social acceptance. Thus, skill development is important for every individual, especially among children who are growing up with so much competition around them and they have to prove their mettle at every step. The underprivileged students who lack opportunities and monetary support to explore and learn new skills, unlike the students of the schools in urban areas which are well-equipped and have ample of facilities. In rural areas, the challenge is more as the primary schools lack such trainers.

Considering the individual development from the early age, The Roots Foundation has taken an oath to provide the skills-building programs in various community places, including the schools, which helps to provide students knowledge about various skills in various fields which can help the individual students to identify their calibre and progress in their life which can enhance their acceptance in the society.

India is targeting to become a global economic powerhouse in the coming years and hence, it needs the skilled and proficient workforce to make the country developed with the help of employable skills and knowledge. Increasing knowledge and skill development are driving forces of any country as it leads to the financial growth of a country and its community development.
