Programs :

Project: Swadesh Internship


Aim:
To bring young Non-Residential Indians on short time assignment in India purely on voluntarily basis to work on any social issue of their interest which will enhance their own understanding on Indian social issues and at the same time contribute in the development of India.

Objective:
To connect NRIs to their roots (India) and engage their expertise on most pressing social issues in their own area/region of origin in particular and India in general.

Financial Assistance:
The organization is not in a position to provide any financial resources to selected fellows thus, entire cost of the internship programme will be borne by the selected fellow themselves plus they have to contribute $200 as administrative fee. The organization can help fellow in finding suitable accomodation.

Duration of Internship:
Minimum 2 months and maximum 6 months.

Termination/Expiration:
Fellows are required to prepare 2000 words concise report on the issue they worked as part of the requirement of the internship programme. At the end of the programme a Certificate of participation will be issued to the fellow.
