Our Campaigns :-

OUR ROLE MODELS

ROOTS has undertaken a campaign ‘OUR ROLE MODELS’ wherein we want to create an awareness among the masses on the issue of reference groups. In modern age the process of development is happening at its own pace but unknowingly we are helping the running of a huge reference group . The media fraternity through the medium of its varied products(movies, t.v shows, etc.) is corrupting the minds of the future generation in the name of creativity where creativity takes a backseat and what comes forth is frivolity. Our generation need to ask themselves why a role model from media. Why not from someone around them ? Because Role model is a big tag and carries huge responsibilities.
Our passive acceptance of media fraternity runs a billion dollar industry and what do we get in return ? Let us ask this question from ourselves . Why do we facilitate a reference group who only work for their self- interest when we are the ones from whom they earn their bread and butter or, to be precise, their gold and silver.
According to a survey, 1 out of 7, or 90 million older people, live alone worldwide and this ratio has increased in the majority of countries over the past decade. In these days we need to think about the problem of those older and lonely people who are struggling for their day-to-day activities. In the final years of their life, they become dependent on others for their financial, physical and emotional support.
Media is such a strong force which can be used to create awareness and positive impact on the society but is used otherwise . It has become an opium which has spread throughout the society. Isn’t this the impact of the media which has weakened the bond between generations and given us a toy with which we have busied ourselves forgetting behind our roots.
That’s why Roots has undertaken this campaign so that people from every generation begin to deepen their bonds with their immediate surroundings instead of living on fake and imaginary world. We want to begin an era where people begin to ask questions before they decide to accept just anything.

True Art

There is no specific definition of true art..
But..
We.. Roots..
want to create those waves which are responsible for the invention or a reason of a new definition of true art.
We believe an artist is a person who plays a major role in developing moral values among our society..
But, this whole segment of show business(Bollywood, TV industry, & even sports) has lost its moral value for the sake of huge amounts of money and exposure. They have created a vulgar atmosphere in context to 'freedom of creativity'.
Who are these so called 'public figures'?
Who has given them a right to express that they are Superstars??
It is Us.. the People, who has accepted them and given them a chance to continue their careers, it is us who will decide who is our star.. or a superstar..
But..
We.. Roots..
think that they have lost their right to tell us who they are..
We.. Roots..
are not just an organization, but.. a start to awaken the soul of society..
The spirit of a wave which will flow in each and every person of our country.

Black Mamba is the finest creature of god, but it's poison.... if even touched is life threatening. Art is god gifted to humankind and show business derived from art, but just like Black Mamba, it has weakan the significance of true art by it's poisonous effects. True art is bitten by this Show business and in this poisonous atmosphere, it has been diminished. In these days Show business is synonymous to Black Mamba. Being a part of art... it is killing our thoughts.... creating false dreams... and showing wrong path....

Education

Education is a basic human right. Our mission is a state level programme from ROOTS which focuses on basic education for underprivileged children and youth. We believes that whether you are addressing healthcare, poverty, population control, unemployment or human rights, there's no better place to start than in the corridors of Education. Because education is both the means as well as the end to a better life: means, because it empowers an individual to earn his/her livelihood and the end because it increases one's awareness on a range of issues – from healthcare to appropriate social behavior to understanding one's rights - and in the process evolve as a better citizen.
